    IATA will conduct international training at the Gazpromneft-Aero FSF in Novosibirsk

    International Air Transport Association (IATA) is due to hold its ninth International training seminar for specialists engaged in the aviation fuel supply of airports in Novosibirsk. The training will take place at Gazpromneft-Aero FSF between 21st and 25th of August, 2017. The training is organized by IATA Fuel Quality Pool (IFQP).

    Gazpromneft-Aero’s fuel servicing facility in Novosibirsk is one of the four sites in the world certified by IATA for training specialists in aviation fuel supply. This is the only training seminar of its kind in Eastern Europe.

    The main objective of the seminar is to familiarize airline specialists, suppliers of aviation fuel, fuel servicing facilities and fuel depot services in airports with international standards of acceptance, storage and fueling of aircrafts.      

    The theoretical part of the training is dedicated to studying modern systems for management of quality and safety of aviation fuel supply process, experience in implementing the system of technological procedures: ranging from acceptance of aviation fuel at the fuel depot until the completion of fueling in to the tip of the aircraft. IFQP experts will share details of the modern fueling equipment operation, systems of the aircraft centralized fueling, latest changes in international regulatory base in the field of aviation fuel supply.

    The practical part of the session will involve activities for participants at fuel depot services to enable them to better understand the infrastructure of fueling systems, including the railway track for aviation fuel delivery, tank batteries, pumping and filtration stations, filling racks, and fuel & lubricant laboratories. The training will also include studying the mobile fueling equipment and the participants will be able to watch the aircraft fueling process. 

    The participants will participate in performing quick tests targeted at defining the aviation fuel quality parameters, bench testing of special equipment and will learn more about the maintenance of internal accounting and registration of documentation in compliance with international norms and standards.

    Upon the completion of training, the participants will be issued international certificates.
